Hey Robby. I loved your recorded cover of ‘Tomorrow Tomorrow’ (which inspired me to learn it myself) and also your own song ‘So Susie Stopped Sleeping’, which as it turns out managed to find it’s way onto my iPod.

You mentioned that you did a cover of ‘Condor Avenue’. I would love to see a video of you performing that. I’ve recently learnt it myself, and am interested as to how you play it.

Hey yeah it seems that there are two parts of a song. Playing it, then playing it in front of people. I’m going to try to ease into playing in front of people by playing with other people. Also I’m thankful that I’m only a guitarist; I don’t understand how I could sing in front of people.

But hey, I’ll bet just about everyone went through something like this.

Also a quick question I was learning to play Tomorrow Tomorrow from your vid (I was too lazy to tune down so I put a capo on the 1st fret and went to Dm) but I was wondering how many fingers you were using for the ‘tremolo’?

I’ve only been playing guitar around a year but I’m really getting into Elliott Smith stuff and I was wondering if you could throw me that little tidbit.

So Susie stopped sleeping is an amazing song, i love this kind of melancholic melody and the way you played it.
